Key training themes:

Children’s Rights
Training will be provided on recent reforms, both domestic and international, in the area of children’s rights in Ireland, Estonia, Finland, Sweden and Hungary.

Staff Welfare
The aim of this training is to equip participants to process the impact of their work in child protection on their personal lives. They will be introduced to theories and practices of self-care, stress, reflection and mindfulness to develop their ability to stay healthy so that they can better advocate on behalf of their clients.

Attachment Theory and Child Development
This training will introduce participants to child development theories and research as well as attachment theory, thereby helping them to better understand evidence presented in social work/ child welfare reports and contribute to better decision-making.
